Banner Elk - Thanksgiving Trip

Concord Church is going back to Banner Elk, North Carolina to help work on the camp that we stayed at this past summer and plan to stay at again next summer.  This will be a shorter trip that really focuses on one project -  preparing the camp to host more mission groups.

We plan to leave the church on the morning of Friday, November 28 and return the evening of Monday, December 1.  The trip to Banner Elk is about 7-1/2 hours without stops.  Participants will be responsible for covering the cost of their meals while traveling.

While on site, we'll have access to showers and be supplied with cots to sleep on.  As a team, we will determine the best way to bring cooking supplies with us as the camp doesn't really have kitchen facilities.

The cost of the trip will is $50 per person.  Concord Church attendees/members can receive 15% of their trip covered by applying to the mission committee.  CSM participants can use student account funds for their trip and are eligible for scholarship if necessary.
